The Crosscom Story

Crosscom, Inc. has been assisting clients since its inception on March 09, 2000. Crosscom Public Adjusters have been licensed as a public adjusting firm since November 06, 2013. We began by helping homeowners with their insurance claims for wind and hail damage to their houses. We evolved into handling all types of personal property claims, i.e., fires, floods, water damage, tornados, ice damming and worked with homeowners in North and South Carolina after Hurricane Florence. We also work with townhome and condo associations and have helped many from only a few units up to 96 units along with commercial properties.

We have an excellent reputation in the industry and work with many insurance agents advocating for their clients.

We have a great rapport with many insurance carriers from the smaller carriers up to all the large carriers.

Crosscom Public Adjusters (CPA) will be your advocate from start to finish. We will begin by filing a claim for you if you haven’t already filed a claim. We then contact your insurance carrier and let them know that you have retained CPA as your public adjusting company. From this point on we will be handling all the communications and negotiations with your carrier. We will meet with your carrier’s adjuster (inspector) at your property and access the damage caused from the loss. We will prepare an estimate utilizing Xactimate which is the insurance standard software to create an estimate. We will submit the estimate along with pictures of the damage to your carrier and negotiate the damages and pricing with them.

Once we have come to an acceptable resolution agreed upon by you and your carrier, our general contracting company, Crosscom Property Restoration (CPR) is available to perform all the necessary repairs per the agreed upon estimate. CPR works directly with your carrier’s estimate pricing, and should you request additional work, we will estimate the work using insurance pricing which is typically lower than retail pricing. CPR installs windows, siding, roofs, gutters, and kitchens, bathrooms, and basement remodeling. We have completely restored houses from top to bottom that have been damaged by fire, tornados, and even hurricanes. CPR is fully licensed, bonded and insured and secures all necessary permits for your project.
